Review of the one live campaign, "DoctorFit | VSL Video Ads | DCO 3v:2b:2h | Schedule | 30.9.26 - Copy", from launch on 11 Oct to 22 Oct, plus a step-by-step walk of the funnel the live ad now sends people to. Judged on booked calls, not clicks. Pulled 23 Oct 2026.
The live ad is getting cheaper opt-ins, but still no booked call that Meta can see. In 12 days the campaign spent $709 for 8 opt-ins ($89 each) and 0 credited calls. In the last 7 days the one ad doing the work, B Clinical Term, got 6 opt-ins at $52 each, the best rate this account has had. Then, today around midday, the live ad was pointed at a new page, /start1, and ads A and C were paused. /start1 is a big step up on proof, but it skips the opt-in and goes straight to a calendar. That means the opt-in event Meta was learning from no longer fires, and the ad set is still aimed at a "Lead" event that never fires. From today, the campaign has nothing to learn from until someone books. That needs fixing today.
| Window | Spend | CPM | Link clicks | Page views | Opt-ins | $ / opt-in | Credited calls |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Last 7 days (16 to 22 Oct) | $333 | $181 | 53 | 42 | 6 | $56 | 0 |
| Since launch (11 to 22 Oct) | $709 | $136 | 111 | 88 | 8 | $89 | 0 |
Frequency is 1.0 to 1.2, so nobody is seeing the ad too often. This is not tired creative. Spend is also slipping below the $50 budget: $41 on 21 Oct and $16 on 22 Oct. That usually means Meta cannot find people who match the goal it was given, which fits a goal ("Lead") that never fires.
Opt-ins picked up from 18 Oct, once almost all the budget had moved onto ad B. CPM climbed from $74 on day one to about $180 and stayed there.
11 to 22 Oct, ad traffic only. Clicks and page loads are fine. About 1 in 11 visitors opted in. None of the 8 opt-ins has a booking Meta can tie to an ad.
Across all traffic since 11 Oct, the website received about 16 opt-ins and 3 to 4 bookings (each event arrives twice, from browser and server, so raw counts of 32 and 7 are halved). Ads drove half of those opt-ins. Some of the bookings may well be ad leads that Meta could not match. Check those names in GHL.
I started from the live ad, then loaded each step on a phone-sized screen, opened the calendar, picked a slot to see the booking form, and read the tracking code. Nothing was submitted, so no test leads or bookings went into the CRM.

| Ad set "VSL Videos v2 · Leads", $50/day | Live | Aimed at "Lead", which the site never sends. Flagged 11 and 21 Oct. Name says US+CA, targeting is US only. |
| Ad set "VSL Videos · DCO" | Paused today | Good, that clutter is gone |
| Ad set "VSL Videos v2 · 3 singles" (/start) | Paused | Last edited 13 Oct |
| Ads A + C in live set | Paused today | Fixes the duplicate copy problem from 21 Oct |
The ad set is aimed at "Lead", which never fires. Until today it was at least near the SubmitApplication opt-in on /start. /start1 has no opt-in, so from today the only event left is Schedule, after a booking. Do two things: make one real test booking on /start1 to confirm it lands on /thankyou and fires Schedule (then cancel it in GHL), and duplicate the ad set with B Clinical Term aimed at Schedule. If you want more signal than Schedule can give at $50 a day, add a SubmitApplication event when the calendar form is submitted.
"Lose 25lbs - 45lbs Within 16 Weeks" is in both the headline and the page title. Pound figures with a timeframe were exactly what got the first VSL ads rejected under Health and Wellness, and Meta reviews landing pages too. Lead with the outcome instead, for example "The 20-Minute Training That Shows Why Shift Work Stops Physicians Losing Weight". Keep the results in the testimonials lower down.
The ad promises a "Metabolic Recovery Consult" built on cortisol and shift work, with 10 places a month. The page talks about a "Simple 7 Metabolic Method" and a "free consultation". Pick one name for the method and one for the call, and put the shift-work reason and the 10 places in the first screen of /start1. While you are in there, settle the numbers (100+ physicians, or thousands, or 5,000?), fix the 35.4 versus 31 lbs card, and change "boardroom" to the hospital. Change the link in the ad text from /start to /start1 so every click sees the same page.
The page headline is about weight loss. The form's "biggest goal" has no weight-loss option, so the exact person the ad is for has to pick something that does not fit, at the moment of booking. Add "Lose weight" as the first option. Third time this has come up.
The site logged about 3 to 4 bookings since 11 Oct (11, 12 and 20 Oct), none credited to an ad. Look those names up in GHL to see if they came from the ads. That tells you the true cost per call. /start (opt-in first) gave $52 opt-ins. /start1 (book straight away) is untested. Run B Clinical Term into each page in its own ad set, $50 a day each, for 7 days, and keep whichever books calls cheaper.
